NOISE BARRIER PANACOR HG4-47
TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
PANACOR acoustic panel HG4-47 is a specially designed product to reduce the noise generated by road and railway traffic.
The criteria used in its design take the acoustic signature of road traffic as the reference on which to adapt the panel’s noise abatement characteristics to optimise its efficiency. Similarly, it has also been designed to optimise the panel’s mechanical performance by building it with suitable geometrics and reinforcement to provide it with optimal mechanical strength to withstand wind forces.

HOW THE SCREEN IS BUILT
The PANACOR HG4-47 concrete noise-absorbing panel comprises an 8cm structural layer of HA-30 reinforced concrete with 15×15 6 B500s mesh and a 10cm layer of porous, sound-absorbing fretted concrete with fret sizes as shown on the attached drawing, formed with crushed aggregates of various grain sizes. The panels are fitted between HEB/HEA vertical posts to reach the required height in modules of 1000mm/2000mm, the gap between the posts being variable.

STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS
The structural support for the screen is made up of HEA/HEB metal sections standing on a welded base-plate, both of grade S275JR according to EN standard 10025. Both sections and base-plates are galvanised and spray coated in accordance with the requirements of standards EN 1461 and EN 15773.
The sections are anchored to the foundations by means of bolts of different lengths, diameters and grades depending on the specific requirements of each project.
