Noise Assessment
The construction of new roads and railways, as well as the urban development in our cities is absorbing existing towns, means that the problem of noise is considered by society as one of the most important factors on which to assess quality of life.
This leads to the need for town planners and new infrastructure developers to include detailed noise impact assessments and protection from urban noise as part of their environmental project designs.
Noise Barriers Panacor‘s environmental noise department carries out environmental impact studies on the noise generated by roads and railways based on noise mapping methods using simulation tools and / or measurements that enable us to pinpoint noise levels in noise-sensitive areas along projected routes.
We also determine the size and optimal effectiveness of noise abatement fencing to provide the best solutions in each case and to contrast the suitability and relevance of pre-project studies with the actual conditions (topography, traffic, etc …) in which the works have been executed to optimize the proposed remedial measures.
